As long as I can remember reading has always been a part of my life, I love reading because it’s an escape route; you become immersed in this world that could be so similar to your own yet so different, you invest your time in characters who often disappoint you or make you smile and you spend hours trying to predict the plot that even the most predictable have a twist you didn’t expect. That’s why I love reading.
But … I tend to read what I want when I want from murder mystery to fantasy to classic literature. I’m someone who can re-read books over and over and still be surprised at the endings and more often than not I’ll fall in love with a character I hated when I first read the book or my opinion will change on the plotline because actually it wasn’t as complex or interesting than I might have first thought.
I also am someone who picks books because the way they look, feel or sometimes by what they’re called.
So essentially yes I do judge a book by its cover.
But I’ve found so many books because I liked the covers or because I liked the title or there was a word in the blurb that made me go “whoa, this could be interesting” and often these books I’ve never heard of before (The book nor the author) but they could also be the hottest books around that’s what this new series (I hope) will be about, showing off the books that I picked up because my first impressions and giving you an insight into these books.
I hope you’ll enjoy this series!
